What we did
European Spa is the leading business publication for international spa and wellness professionals and investors, providing knowledge and insights at the very highest level to the global industry. The publication’s success and reputation has been built on the foundations of research, trust, integrity and expertise. It is published six times a year and distributed by strictly controlled circulation to 5,000 of the highest profile decision-makers in the best and most exclusive spas and wellness facilities, across the UK, Europe and beyond.
Saint set out to build a bespoke Spa business Magazine website that would offer European Spa a digital platform to continue to support their industry online. ESM deliver word-class content to a targeted, quality audience on a daily basis. Because of this, the website needed to be optimised for a huge amount of data but also simple enough for the team to upload content themselves.
Instead of locking the client into a small number of set templates, we created a fully customisable system which allowed the authors of each article to build uniques articles. By providing the team with a toolbox of components, each article could be created in minutes by simply dragging the desired component into the structure. These are then populated with text and images, links and quotes.
This allows ESM to not only ‘curate’ the site themselves, but also means that at anytime, day or night, they are able to create breaking new stories, as they happen.
